Snaps Only: Poetry Night Open Mic @ Melanin Majik

We gather as one for Snaps Only Poetry Night Open Mic to uplift each other and share our truths or to simply speak what we feel is difficult to say. The audience and performers are a collective of women and men who support one another in all aspects of their lives. We do this by creating safe spaces for connection and healing, where we can share our stories and, together, create new ones.

Event Details:

• $15 @ the door
• $10 RSVP (also Includes a personalized digital banner and physical badge)
• Performers get in for free (contact the event director, Vash Penn, @ SnapsOnly@YHSAVinitiative.com) for a spot
• Light complimentary meal & beverage will be served
• 21 years old? No ID = Juice Not Drank 🤷🏽‍♀️
• Swag bags will be handed out to every guest at the door
• Those who show up on time will get the best seats
